In April 2020, I participated in an online book fair, called History Summit 2020, thanks to Lindsay Chervinsky of the White House Historical Association.

Check out the video I created:

In 2017, I was honored to give the 30th Annual James Monroe Lecture at the University of Mary Washington sponsored by the James Monroe Museum. I talked about "James Monroe Versus the Spanish American Pirates." Video below.

My 2016, talk, "Gray and Blind in Your Service: George Washington and the Newburgh Conpiracy," given at the Fred W. Smith National Library for the Study of George Washington at Mount Vernon.

I was still researching and writing, so my argument has evolved since.

My 2016, talk, "Slave Smuggling Privateers in the Spanish Borderlands: Geopolitics and the Illegal Slave Trade," given at Friends of the Cabildo Symposium held at the Old U.S. Mint, New Orleans. It's a little dark, but that just helps the smuggling mood.

I've been doing a lot of podcasts recently. Here's a selection below.
